The
Comforter
Why do people have a problem or let me say it this way,
“Why do churches have a problem with the Holy Ghost?”
It seems easy for ministers or Christians to say Holy
Spirit, but it seems as though there’s something
wrong when we speak of the Holy Ghost. Jesus told us that
He would send us another Comforter and that this Comforter
would abide with us forever. John 14:16 Jesus goes on
and tells us who this Comforter is in John 14:26, “But
the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father
will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and
bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have
said unto you.” Jesus, Himself calls Him The Holy
Ghost, so why is it so difficult for the so called Church
or Christians to call Him the same? My personal opinion
is that if you don’t posses the Comforter, you cannot
recognize that He exist. Christ says in John 15:26, “But
when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you
from the Father,” Let’s stop here for a second.
Now Jesus says He is sending the Comforter to me from
the Father. So, if He is coming to me, I first must receive
Him to have Him. When I sent you this letter, you had
a choice to either receive it and learn of the information
it contained or you could have rejected it and never known
of it’s blessings. I feel that many reject the Holy
Ghost not realizing the wealth of information He wishes
to teach them. The Scripture goes on to say, “Even
the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father,
he shall testify of me:” Jesus said the Comforter
would teach us the truth. So, if we receive Him, listen
to Him and obey Him, we shall learn of the valuable information
that He brings. Just as you had to receive this letter,
open it and read the contents to gain knowledge of what
it says. I believe Jesus did exactly what He promised.
He sent the Comforter, but it’s entirely up to us
to either receive the package, open it and follow the
instructions or discard it. I pray that you opened it,
but if not, pray for the Lord to give you all that He
has for you, then believe that He will and receive the
Comforter. †

Salvations
in the Philippines
I spoke to Pastor Roberto Abrina, in the Philippines, this
week and he tells me that they are still seeing 40 to 50
souls saved everytime our telecast is aired there. Pastor
Roberto has a TV Station in the Philippines and our program
is aired three times a week at prime time. Roberto says
everytime the program comes on, their telephones began to
ring. He places his phone number on the screen over ours,
so they can minister to the people that need prayer. We’re
seeing over 100 salvations every week in the Philippines.
The Angels are rejoicing. †
Searching
We finding more and more families that are searching for
the truth and finding a home here at Crossroads. We’ve
had several families to join our Church Family recently.
There’s a famine throughout the land and people are
beginning to realize that they can’t live Christian
lives without eating Spiritual Food. Mom and
Dad may have gone to your church for forty years and may
have been blessed, but maybe back then there was life in
the church. I know for a fact that there are many dead dried
up churches in our area and yet people keep sitting in them,
Sunday after Sunday, slowly drying up. How do I know this?
Some have seen the light and have come out of tradition
and told me personally. Others call and tell us how they
are fed by our telecast before going to their church. Some
stop me in the stores and ask me to pray for their churches
and pastors, because there’s no life in them. I’m
not writing this to put these pastors down, I’m writing
this trying to get you to see the light. It’s not
about tradition. It’s not about denomination. It’s
not about Mom and Dad. It’s all about Jesus Christ
and His will. He came to give us life and that more abundantly.
We need to grow spiritually and mature in God’s Word.
We need the full power that the Lord has promised each of
us. You need to dress in the whole armor of God and march
out on the battle field. Too many Christians are hiding
in the fox holes when they should be leading their children
and raising them up under the anointing of all mighty God.

A Pure Heart
As Children of God our hearts are to be clean and pure,
because the Word says in II Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore
if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things
are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
We also know that from the abundance of our heart our mouth
speaks. Matthew 12:34
Therefore, if our hearts are clean and pure, our conversations
should be the same. Listen to yourselves this week and see
if you speak as Christ would. Are you saying things you
would never say in Church? †
Are You Ready?
I am the way, the truth,and the life: no man cometh unto
the Father, but by me.” John 14:6
“No man can come to me, except the Father which hath
sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.”
John 6:44
“And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall
never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my
hand.” John 10:28
Prayer of Repentance
Are you prepared to meet the Lord? I pray that you are,
but if you aren’t, please pray this prayer.
Father God, I come to you this day and I’m a sinner.
I ask you Lord to forgive my sins and place them under the
blood of Jesus. I believe in my heart and confess with my
mouth that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that you raised
Him from the dead. This day, I invite Jesus Christ to come
into my heart to be my Saviour and Lord of my life. I ask
you Father to write my name in the Lamb’s Book of
Life and seal me with the Holy Ghost of promise until the
day of redemption. For I ask this in Jesus’ name.
