490 Times A Day
As forgiven sinners, we know and understand Christ’s meaning when He told Peter to forgive others 490 times a day. ( Matthew 18:21-22 ) “Then came Peter to Him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.” When we have the love of Jesus in our hearts, we can forgive and even though the world cannot understand why we turn the other cheek, we know! †
