“ Not Perfect, But Forgiven ”

Aren’t we blessed and glad that we have a Savior that is longsuffering, merciful, loving, kind, gentle and caring? I’m not about to try and remember all the times I have failed the Lord, but I can assure you it’s thousands and thousands. You might question me and say, “There’s no way,” but I assure you that had it not been for His grace and mercy, I wouldn’t be here today. God’s love is perfect and His forgiveness is absolute. When we forgive others, we may still hold on to aught and have hard feelings towards that individual. We shouldn’t, but sometimes we allow flesh to get in the way. God’s forgiveness is complete. Not only will He forgive you when you truly repent, but He will not remember your sins again. Many times, in my walk, I’ve found myself trying to figure out which way I was to go and how I was to do this or that and I made lots of mistakes. However, I have learned many valuable lessons from my past. I think some call it wisdom. I found it to be much easier to seek the Lord and wait for His guidance than to make the mistake and have to repent and suffer the consequences. The Lord wants us to place our trust in Him. He desires us to seek His infinite wisdom and advice. All through the Bible, the Lord instructs us to ask the Father, in His name for everything we need and/or desire. When we attempt to do anything without inquiring of the Lord, we have already failed. There may be some perfect preachers out there, but I assure you that I’m not one of them. I’m simply forgiven. †

Bless The Lord
The Psalmist David wrote Bless the Lord more than twenty times in his writings of The Book of Psalms. Do you think David might have known something back then, that we should know today? David continually blessed and praised the name of the Lord and the Lord blessed David in every situation he found himself in. Take time today to bless and praise the name of the Lord. †

New Viewers Welcome
God is amazing. I want to welcome the viewers in New Mexico, Southern Colorado and North Western Arizona. Even though they have been able to see us on Direct-TV, we are now airing every Sunday Morning at 9:30 AM and every Friday night at 10:00 PM on Dish Network, Direct TV, Cable Channel 22, Cable Channel 9 and Antenna Channel 32 on KAZQ in New Mexico covering over 1,660,000 more viewers. We must look forward and try to witness to everyone possible, because time is short and Christ is coming soon. †

West Virginia Singing
Just a reminder that we will be in War, West Virginia on August 14th, for an all day Gospel Singing, Praise and Worship Service. We will have lots of anointed talent and good food. We will be giving all teenagers and children a KJV New Testament Bible, along with a small gift that will remind them of what Jesus did for them. If possible try to be there to help us magnify our Lord. Call or write for more details and come join us. †

Keeping Our Word
As Christians, we know that we are to be honest in everything we do. I was taught at a very early age that a man is only as good as his word. There have been many times in my life that I didn’t keep my word and I’ve suffered for it. I thank the Lord that we now have the Comforter to remind us when we don’t do as we should or as we said we would do. I believe Christians should be very careful to listen to their vows and statements. When we tell someone we will do this or that, guess who hears us? It’s not only the person or people we’re talking to, but The Lord has His ear tuned in to the conversation. He loves us and He wants to bless us, but we have to keep our promises and our word. Throughout the Bible, the Word tells us to let our yeas be yea and our nays be nay. We are commanded not to be false witnesses. If you make a vow to man or God, be sure to do everything you can to keep that vow. Even though Christ is forgiving, we lose blessings for our disobedience. We should think before we speak and remember long after the conversation is over. †

The Word Of God
Are we to believe what the Bible says or are we to believe what makes us feel good? I’ve been critized for years, because of the stand I take on certain issues. I no longer mind the critizism, I’m
getting use to it, but I feel sorry for those that choose to ignor the Word of God, because it doesn’t seem right to them. As one called by God to preach the Gospel, I can only preach the actual Word of God and not what I feel to be right. Paul said, “For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!” ( I Corinthians 9:16.) We must remember that in Hebrews 4:12 the word says, “For the Word of God is quick, (meaning alive) and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of the soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” The Word of God adequately pierces the soul and spirit of man proclaiming what man ought to be and can only be through Jesus Christ. I believe this makes it pretty plain and simple that our souls and spirits may not always be comforted by the Word, but we must accept the Word of God as it’s written even though sometimes it cuts our flesh. When standing in the pulpit, one must lay aside personal feelings and allow the Holy Ghost to take over and speak through the mortal fleshly body. Paul told Timothy, in the last days, man would not want to hear the truth, but would go seeking teachers that would preach to sooth their fleshly ears and fleshly hearts. II Timothy 4:3 I ask you to pray for me. †
